i think mine its character Vs self because in the book Emaline she is always rethinking herself like what she wants to do about college, or what she wants to do with her life. In my book she is stressed while everyone around her is giving her a hard time and makes her summer pretty bad. I think Emaline is feeling pretty mad but she really tries to put a smile on her face and just ignore it.

Emalines friend is telling she got this and she still is nervous. Once Emalines friend left Emaline went upstairs and started rethinking everything all over again

PREDICTION: my predictions are that in the book the cafe the guy owns is gonna shut down. I think this is because he is having a hard time at his cafe. Emaline doesn't know what's going on and she is worried. I think it's hard for the guy cause he has been working there for a while but he has secrets that he is been hiding from everyone. I think the secret he is saying is he maybe saying he is retiring/shutting down.

The story is told as third person limited because the narrator is like outside the story just like saying it but we know its referred to Emaline when the narrator says she. We mainly know about Emalines thoughts and feelings in this book.

Before going to college during summer she doubts everything. she has a great boyfriend, an sweet kind family but she stills find this summer the weirdest one out of all of them. At this house there is gonna be a wedding for lukas younger sister Brooke. Emaline feels a emotion like she is stuck there and thinks a more bored emotion there.
