I nearly puked when the author described how these two kissed each other passionately while being bloody and having guts still hanging in their mouths. I guess this was the intention?
I'm not sure if the author WANTED to write an obsessive, horrible love story or if she thinks that her characters are just tragically starcrossed lovers.
And GOD, I hated Steph.
Eh. Not my favourite Halloween read.

This book has a really tragic and deep topic, and I'm not sure if the humour showing in inappropriate dialogue or people being very dumb fits a story like this. I mean, sure, not everything has to take itself super seriously, but especially in the beginning, the protagonist shows signs of severe depression and also breaks down multiple times.
