so many gre words ! really interesting so far. a lot of what could be perceived as instability and separation, living with mom to grandparents to mom again, but he writes about it very matter-of-fact, like that just makes the most sense. not really resentful or angry about any choices made by individuals, just shifting around them to fit the lifestyle the adults wanted.
