Our protagonist finds himself in the most delicate situation, his intrusion among the republicans putting him in danger more than ever.
I really appreciate the addition of a real political context in the story, although those explanations might sometimes take more importance than the story itself...
With this chapter, the mystery evolves. Mirrors ? Hypnosis ? I only hope the untying of the case remains realistic...

Okay, things start to become darker and darker while the protagonist's real goal becomes clearer : finding the Vicaire. The real antagonist reveals himself and I can't wait for the protagonist to kick his ass

The main historical frame is set, the beginning of the investigation too, and I'm hooked by the strange circumstances of the victim's death, as well as the atmosphere of the old Paris. But what is as much if not more captivating is the personality of our protagonist. Charismatic, well-mannered, clever, he manages to hide his fierce temper and strength behind his spoiled kid and charming appearances.
