The story was fine, dragged out but predictable. My biggest issue is the completely irrelevant comments when describing race. Not only did it add nothing to the story and should have been left out completely, some references were offensive and painting stereotypes. If this had been the first book I read by this author I wouldn’t have read anything else by her.
