“For Jesus, salvation is less about getting you into heaven and more about getting heaven into you. It's not just about Him becoming like us, but also about us becoming like Him. It's less of a transaction and more of a transformation. It's not just about what He has done for us but also about what He has done, is doing and will do in us if we apprentice under Him."

"The call to apprentice under Jesus is not a call to do more, but to do less. It's not addition but subtraction. It's not about increasing complexity but pursuing simplicity. It's less about habit stacking and more about learning to say 'no'. Jesus is calling you to slow down and simplify your life around the three goals of an apprentice. To be with your rabbi, to be come like him and to do as he did."

"Show me a person's habits, and I will show you what they are truly most passionate about, most dedicated to, most willing to suffer for and most in love with, and I will show you who they will become."
