The backstory? Cool.

Honestly, he’s my highlight of the book and I’m not ashamed to admit that. He should have been in it more.
Tana is cool.

Gavriel is sort of back! Tana and Valentina are storming the party and it’s cool.
No idea who the Spider is.
Can’t wait for more. 11 more chapters left to go!

Still a little fuzzy on the lore aspect, partly because I went on a trip (couldn’t read in that time) and school.

Still having a fun time with this one.
The back and forth between the present and the past is ok. Not bothering me as much as it did earlier

So far, I still like it!
My only complaint is that I don’t like the back and forth between the past and present. Just stick to the present for a few chapters and then do a chapter of the past.
I do like how consistent the relationships between father and daughter are in Black’s books. It’s kinda heartwarming.

Was busy for a few days, so I didn’t read.
But now I’m back!
And so far, I am really liking this book.
Tana, Winter and Gavriel are my favorites.
Especially Gavriel.🤭
