Breakfast was being prepared by Vera Claythorne and Emily Brent during and after Mr. Rogers was found dead on the morning of day three. After breakfast, Emily Brent was feeling a little lightheaded and saw a bee, then was "stung". She was really injected and was found dead after everyone was cleaning up breakfast, taking some time in their rooms, and beginning to gather for a meeting. 5 people and figures are left.

Vera and Lomard are the only two left. Lombard has the revolver on him, and Vera wanted to move Armstrong's body away from the water. This is when she took the gun from Lombard and shot him when he charged at her, attempting to get the gun. She walks back to the house and wants to sleep because she assumes she's safe now. This is when she goes to her room, and she finds a noose tied to the black hook. She is crazy.

Vera and Lombard are the only two left, with Armstrong possibly wandering the island. They decide to walk the island again and try to find a secret location he may be using; this is when they discover his body down by the water, where he presumably drowned.

They all retire to their rooms to prepare for bed, and Lombard's revolver has been returned to his drawer. Later that night, Blore hears footsteps. Armstrong has disappeared into the night outside and is nowhere to be found. In the morning, Vera, Lombard, and Blore look for Armstrong and are convinced he is the murderer. After the search of the island, Blore decides to go to the house and is killed by a bear figure.

Later that evening, the five made sure to stick together, with only one leaving a room at a time. Later, Vera went to bathe and became frightened, reminiscing about why she had been invited to this island. All of the men came up to see what was wrong, except for Justice Wargrave. When Vera felt better, they made their way back downstairs and found him shot in the head, dressed in a judge's outfit using missing items.

As for the timeline, it is day three, near the middle of chapter eleven. Anthony Marston died on the first day they arrived, after dinner. Then the next morning, Mrs. Rogers is found dead; later that evening, General MacArthur is found dead on the beach with a blow to the head. The next morning (on day three), they wake up to find Mr. Rogers dead when he was outside chopping wood for the fire, with an ax to the head.

Mrs. Rogers died in her sleep, and then General MacArthur was down by the water and died with a blow to the head. Only 7 of the 10 soldier boy figures remain on the dining table. Three people are dead, and they begin an "internal investigation" of sorts, led by Judge Justice Wargrave. I suspect him mostly, and possibly Dr. Armstrong as well. Dr. Armstrong gave Mrs. Rogers a sleep aid/sedative and found Macarthur dead

They were all called out by the inviter as guilty for killing someone, directly or indirectly. They decide to leave in the morning when the island supplyman arrives because of the circumstances, and that is when Marston dies by choking on his drink. JUST LIKE THE POEM! Mr. Rogers decided to tidy up then go to sleep after all the guests. I believe he will die next. Then after that I believe General Macarthur will die.

Everyone at the home, including the help, were accused of killing people because of a record that Mr. Rogers was instructed to play during dinner. They all freaked out, then started discussing the Owens. Emily Brent was invited by "Mr. Oliver". Lombard seems to be secretive about his invitation. Blore attended under a false name because he is a detective of sorts and was hired by Mr. Owen to watch the guests.

No invitees seem to know the Owens, and none of the staff hired for this event have met the Owens face-to-face.

The character Vera has a secret involving a drowning. She was also recently temporarily hired as Mrs. Owens's assistant secretary. All characters invited to Soldier Island were invited by Mr. and Mrs. Owens, except Mr. Justice Wargrave, the judge. He was invited by a Constance Culmington, who no one seems to know. The housekeepers, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers, also said no one is expected to come to the island with that name
