Chapters 7–8 explore the fascinating relationship between shared beliefs, human behavior, and the diffusion of innovation. What stood out most is that meaningful influence isn't necessarily about persuading the majority but connecting with those who already believe in the underlying purpose. Vision inspires change but without effective execution it remains little more than an interesting idea.

Halfway through *Start With Why* and the neuroscience interests me more than the leadership theory. Sinek's use of the neocortex and limbic system raises an interesting distinction between rational thought and rationalization. However his interpretation oversimplifies how interconnected cognition and emotion really are. A compelling framework even if the scientist in me wants to debate the motivational speaker.
