We're on our third assignation attempt of a president and there has been no serious response or consequences of them happening... Like if it's just a reason for the relationship just lower the stakes a little make it cozy. Also there's no need to act differently at work because you're pretend dating now, they should have a little more real consideration for their coworkers and save it for after hours or lunch breaks

Like for real though these are grown ups and supposedly both almost witch president. Like mature the fuck up at work. How did the pranks even start? There 11 years in-between them, so it's not a holdover from school or something. Like did a 15 year old Heart intern for her father and think that the hot 26 year old witch with the annoying French name needed to be taken down a peg? Huh that doesn't work that's not sexy

I just looked up the definition for the word sapphic and suddenly the hornynes level of the characters makes sense. I was under the false notion that the word "sapphic" meant a more asexual adjacent love between women. That is incorrect. My expectations of a more intellectual spark that would in a slow burn it's way o a physical connection was totally of the mark due to my own ignorance. I'm still disappointed though

This should take place in a school or Parks and Rec style environment to fit the tone of the book better I think

Uncle Larry is my favorite character so far. I'm not a huge fan of our POVs but I'm am pleasantly amused in a low key way.

Btw what's with the burocracy? Why we doing government shenanigans? It sometimes feels like this should take place at PTA meetings or something less serious. I mean this is more of a nit pick but the feel of the story so far is low stakes so I think the positions of the characters are to high.
