CONFLICT: Character vs. society is the conflict that is dominant. A character named Brystal is going against a secret society that does not want her and the magical community around. It is very secretive about one's identity. "The Brotherhood has been reassembled tonight because a new threat has emerged...And we must eliminate it immediately."(p. 8) The society is referring to the magic and Brystal has to stop them.
