Chapter 30 is the worst so far 1/10.
Morel is my least favorite character. The character who’s written to have the ‘noblest’ of hearts said that
He will kill himself because for the first time in his life he has broken his heart
Very convinient bc he is leaving away almost 300000 francs in debt when he was taking a way out. Very noble to not pay off his debt and commit suicide.

I’m pausing this.
I feel like I have a huge problem with intense/ revenge drama bc my fav characters are the ones we’ll read to suffer.
Fernand is my favorite.
And I don’t want to do this.
