So far this reads very differently than the Christies I am accustomed to because it was published in 1969. There is a lot of commentary on the state of unruly youths and whether or not they are to be pitied, which is an interesting take. Rowena Drake, a holier than thou character who feels good by doing public works- and bossing around subordinates in the process- is a timeless stereotype and fun to read her exchange
