probablyyyy the way i used to be, as a survivor I found it very validating and healing, and for the song it would probably be long story short by taylor swift mainly bc of the chorus, “i fell from the precipice, clung to the nearest lips, long story short it was the wrong guy…long story short I survived”

i promise it’s tied between love and gelato and the hawthorne legacy but for now i’ll pick love and gelato, and the song that matches the book is like so american like literally “and he laughs at all my jokes and he says im so americannnn” bc ren is literally always doing that.

My favorite book right now is The Catcher in The Rye. BUT, my favorite piece of literature in general is Holding by Messermoon on Ao3.As for a song, "Burn, Burn, Burn" by Zach Bryan
Hmmmmm I have too many favorites, but I really love the Count of Monte Cristo! I think the song would be Believer by Imagine Dragons, it fits Edmond's arc, or Derniere Danse since that sort encompasses the opulence, Paris setting, and the pain of the betrayals. . .
