I feel you, Fani. I've been having the same issue. Contemporary or fantasy. Each time I look at HR, I have a 'bleck' moment, and I'm not sure why, lol.

lol! It's good to know I'm not alone. I'm thinking of going PNR; it's the one genre I haven't tried since this phase struck me, so it may work:)
It must be something about spring, haha. I've been trying to use this more recent aversion to HR as a weeding opportunity.
Good luck with that Heather! Truth is, I've started more books myself in a couple of weeks than I usually read in a month; at least I get a glimpse of what's worth reading eventually and what's not!
