Honestly, weird start. A bit all over the place. Lacks flow. I feel completely ambushed with a new character being introduced every five seconds. It feels rather chaotic and I wish the author initially did a better job of illustrating and setting the scene rather than giving us the chaos. We had no time to ease into the plot… or lack thereof… will keep reading and hope for less fragments of a story :)
