Bi/pan awakening is one of my favorite tropes, because it's heavy on self discovery, antagonistic towards 'regular' societal expectations, and I like 'first times' where confident adults are suddenly awkward people that have no idea how to..do that.
This book took away everything I like about bi awakening; I don't understand why the author made one of the MCs straight honestly.

I'm having a hard time telling the difference between the MCs, they don't have unique voices in the least, and that's no fault of Michael Dean. Both are just easy going, nothing bothers me kind of people. Almost completely interchangeable.
