Although King's writing is unnecessarily vulgar at times, especially when writing about women, I can't deny how immersed this book makes me feel. I am transported onto the walk and I can smell the musk, see the desperation, and feel the hope leaving with each step.
"Just go on dancing with me like this forever, Garraty, and I'll never tire. We'll scrape our shoe on the stars and hang upside down from the moon."
