There’s a scene where Jack first meets Judy and the poetic writing of how Jack first sees this woman is so crazy good that I’m listening just flabbergasted. Absolutely incredible writing.

Our main character has barely been in this book so far. Eric, kind of reminds me of the set up in the outsider where Hollie shows up halfway through.

Still haven’t met Jack (the main character) of the trilogy. But I’m loving the intro of this book. The authors take you on a flight across the country, dropping in here and there to random places (that I’m sure will be later in the story). It feels very cinematic. And again, like The Talisman, the writing here is superb, a real step up from normal King writing.
