It is interesting reading this in 2026 50+ years after it was written. We live in a world full of the agritech he discusses and the predictions about big Ag and small farms have borne out. It is sad to see what is happening to our land, water, and food in the name of money and efficiency. The futuristic promises are often too good to be true.

Everything this year seems to be about the Odyssey! Even a book written in the 70s is talking about the Odyssey! It is probably time I revisited it. I haven't read it since college. I'm not sure if I've ever read the whole thing start to finish even though I read it in high school and college. Time to find a good translation.
