yet another thing I assumed wrong -- I figured this book was going to span at LEAST a full semester, if not the better part of a year (even if semester 2 got less focus), but no, it has literally been one week on campus.

is...is there someone in 2018 who a) DOESN'T know that the odds of relationships from high school don't have great odds of lasting, esp. if you're long distance, and b) needs to be told this by the campus director in an orientation speech? wtf.

also, what kind of college doesn't have you register for classes until THE DAY BEFORE THEY START. Especially for freshmen!
