Starting ch 16. A slow pumpkin spice burn. Throwback to 90s nostalgia in small town, autumn leaf covered Vermont. City girl runs a bed and breakfast and is neighbors and something more with golden retriever baker single dad next door. Michelle bothers me with how much she says “what?” as her first response but otherwise I think the characters are well done so far. Detail drenched like a maple syrup hug.
