Jan B.’s Reviews > The Jewish Gospel of John: Discovering Jesus, King of All Israel > Status Update

So important to understand the jewishness of the Messiah. To understand the little things that were obvious to the original audience, but so hidden from us in the modern world. The author brings out details in the writing of the gospel of John, that I've read and either glossed over or simply didn't understand, and he puts them in the framework of a Jewish society of the first century. Many new ideas to ponder!
