Fall Citrine’s Reviews > The Night Prince > Status Update

I’m really struggling to read this book when I see how she talks about Blake. I don’t. I can’t handle this. Swearing up and down that he is not a good man, despite him being very kind towards Alfie, making it seem like he was holding the young lad hostage.

Phillip is actually a skilled fighter.

"The Anam-Cridech, it’s sacred. If anyone found out what we have just done. . .if they knew what I had just done with another wolf’s—”"

So y'all have technically committed an abomination.

She is in so much denial about Blake being her mate.

"“But James told Blake to kiss you, and I couldn’t hide from it any longer. I scented it, I saw the way he reacted to you, and I tried to tell myself I was mistaken. Until I read the pages in Blake’s book the moment I returned to Madadh-allaidh, and I knew it to be true.””

So he had the knowledge of the books the whole entire time!!

"“An eternal bond, shared by two Wolves, created by the Moon Goddess, written about in love tomes—that would be upsetting to Callum.
You already know.
Nausea rises within. I remember what Callum told me when I first arrived at Madadh-allaidh.
It’s a wolf thing. Rare, but powerful. Stronger, even, than love. Two souls chosen by the Moon Goddess. . .
I know what the bond is.””

Dang, Callum has had two women encounter and/or be taken by Anam-Cridech.

““What is the Anam-Cridech?” I say.
He halts. The muscles in his back shudder. His hand flexes at his side. My stomach lurches at his reaction. Blake was right. Callum knows what it is.””

I had wondered why Callum didn’t have any of his men search for the information but now I understand. He is perfectly aware that two wolves that are mated together for life have a bond cannot be unbroken.

Callum, count your days!
