Jennifer Talarico’s Reviews > Just for the Plot > Status Update

I like the book, but am surprised at how much slower Just for the Plot reads than the others I’ve read of Meghan’s books. I’ve been in a reading slump for about two years that I am just coming out of, and that may be why, but I think that some of it is intentional on her part, too. Of course, leaning into Dark Fantasy & Dark Romance may have skewed my perception, as well. But slow burn gets me in any genre!
