Chloe’s Reviews > The Best Dog in the World: Essays on Love > Status Update

I was gonna say Anni and Alvin had very similar habits and then I read that Alvin has crossed the rainbow bridge after living a good life. I am sad. I have to pause this book again…

Lola’s was a sweet adoption story. I like how this one and the previous were turning non dog people into dog people.

Max reminds me of Henry hahaha

Sunny lives at the end of this story! Thank god!

Any chance in this book there is a dog that DOESNT die??? Pls I can only take like 1 heartbreak every couple days

At least Emily Henry gave us a trigger warning. “We are so fucking lucky to get to love someone so much it tears a hole in the world when they’re gone.”
