Finished the sword and the sorceress. Continued pulpy action. Don’t love the misogyny, but the sorcery and demons were fun. I like it better than Howard so far. Though, the travel scenes are kind of funny. Fox basically just puts Kothar right in the action, whether it be by whirlwind or Wizard transport. Not a whole lot of setting

Just finished. The last story was by far the most interesting. The transformations and mummies were very creepy. And the bewitched town was spooky. I also liked the triple cross to end the story. Left the book on an up note I say. I liked it, but it’s not my favorite of the batch for sure.

Finished the second story. The labyrinth was interesting, the spider fight the most interesting. Pulpy action continues! I do like the curse that keeps him from riches and the persistent cursing from the red witch.

Super quick and pulpy. Just defeated Iormunger. I liked the Lich. And, the action scenes are really engaging. I can see him scaling the walls of Iormunger’s cave and defeating the skull worm. I like it so far.
