I admire some of the workbook style pages. Adding interactivity to books is always good and makes the reader feel as though they are part of the material and makes it easier for them to connect with the ideas and concepts in the book.

I hate it when books do that. What is the reason you buy a book in the first place? Because you find the cover interesting, right? Yet these self-improvement writers always insist on selling you their book in the first two chapters. I already bought the book, why are you still trying to convince me I need this book if I already paid money for it?
