I was not prepared for the depth of this book. The story beneath the story. I had to remind myself (more than once) that I was reading fiction. The Grief. feelings of dread and unease…fear of the unknown. It all felt so real. What happens when you disappear? What must the loved ones left behind feel never knowing where? How? What if? Why?
This is an absolute nightmare and I’m hooked.
