Slowly reading this savor the whimsical horror of the circus. Loving is detailed writing when it comes to describing people and places. Super fun and specific. So far best book I’ve read for the spooky season

Love the idea of the circus workers/ freak show are similar to humans but a different species. And that everyone in the freak show was once human beside the man ring leaders but transformed to a physical representation of there sins as humans. It’s an elevated more profound version of goosebumps that has more to say about death, time and guilt. IF ANYTHING GOOSEBUMPS REHEATED THIS BOOKS NACHOS in later issues

I want to add that although the audiobook is great, and the narrator is doing a fantastic job setting the tone. I would definitely prefer reading this physically over listening to the audiobook. I know that it would be a lot more immersive
