Just under a 100 billion units and many times more synapses - lose a bunch and one would be amused anew by the same joke each time. The interesting bit is that large ML architectures surpass this number in terms of parameter count - quite a feat of engineering. I wonder, if something drastically theoretical like the quantum associative memory (I solved problems about and presented) would also become reality.
