I don't care if this book is trope-y and paced strangely. It's 10am on a Monday and I am crying over a scene. I really believe Paolini's prose are still remarkably good for a book that is ultimately middle-grade... although I'm probably biased because I grew up with these characters as my friends when I didn't have any others.

Haven't read a book in like 6 weeks. May as well make it my fav fantasy series of all time idk. Genuinely interested to see if it holds up now that I've read so much other stuff in my lifetime
