So far, so decent!!! I keep picturing Anluan as the Beast from beauty and the beast (lol). I struggle to really imagine him; a man with a side that’s sort of limp.
He’s quite like the Beast though; fiery temper, almost childlike at first. But I felt so bad for him when Cillian and his goons were making fun of him UGHH :(( and the constant ‘freak’ name calling..💔

I like the writing/vocabulary so far. It’s quite easy to read. I didn’t realize the chieftain was going to be the love interest tho lol. My first impression on him was “ew Whistling Tor got a lazy man”……So yeah, hopefully my perspective on him will change, although I’m barely 2% in the book lol!
