I spoke too soon. Now he doesn’t have Emily. And he’s back home from the war. I can’t imagine being the main character. He seems like an asshole and kind of is - but he’s misunderstood at the same time. It’s like he’s pretending to be someone else rather than being himself. Idk. This book has me hooked tho 🪝
