@bookishjen you get me!!!! Like she’s obvious going to go through her own growth and character arc JUST like Nesta did. Nesta was SO hated before and look at people now. They love her! And imo elain is MUCH MORE hated than Nesta. Also people need to remember this is part 1, she’s going to grow a voice and explore her powers.
She’s being coddled but also… it’s a two-way street. She barely speaks up, doesn’t fight, and lets them coddle her. Like Elaine I’m ready for your arc girl stand up!!
Elain needs a character development BADLY. I just can’t stand her mopping around miserably while also not trying anything
Nesta has coddled Elain all her life and now it’s biting them in the ass. Others are coddling her too but Elain has to take a stand for herself first then the others will follow.
