This is really good.
My predictions: Laine either doesn't remember or has never seen her kidnapper's face, which means he's one of the characters in the book. My money is on Tom Shaw. Olivia is a bully which makes me think her father was abusing her. During one of Laine's blackouts, she must have discovered who Olivia and Tom were. She murdered Olivia in order to punish Tom by taking away his new victim.
