Not done yet with ‘Main Character’. But will say now, the previous stories had a necessary a mocking edge that kept them funny. ‘Main Character’ first person POV swaps that with self-seriousness that just makes its pathetic story feel like a drag

SMUG! That’s the word. The story feels way too unironically smug. Like the BBC Sherlock episode that’s about the Reichenbach Fall
