Also, I actually really like Gibsie... I would actually be interested in reading his book...

Honestly, not really a book I'm interested in... but I made a promise with a student that she could pick a book for me to read and I would pick one for her. So she is reading Throne of Glass, and I'm going to try this one out. Going to give it a chance, but I'm not really expecting to continue with the series.
