The prose is very convoluted to the extent I’m struggling to understand what is actually happening. Like i think someone just died? And because half of the book speaks in metaphors im unsure if she.. actually did die?? 😭 the author is spending more time describing the scenery than advancing the plot . I rlly want to enjoy this book
