24% in and may DNF. I knew it was a possibility since I didn’t really like book 1, but there was so much potential with the world-building to keep me hooked for book 2. Unfortunately, just like with book 1, I’m not connecting with any of the characters and I’m finding myself struggling to read a full chapter without putting it down. I just don’t really care…
