This book is awesome bc it’s not like profound in the way a lot of other books are, meaning there is no constant lesson or hidden meaning behind every event. It’s really just a cool ass story about the civil war following the life of a spoiled girl who now has to pull her shit together. I’m like rly obsessed tho icl it’s a cool perspective

So far im super invested, Margaret Mitchell was ahead of her time. The way she has written the male and female characters is so dope she portrays their intense flaws with a level of understanding that makes the reader say hm, why is that actually so valid. published in 1940 but easy to understand and fun to read
