Fantastic glimpse into the war through the authors eyes. I am certain there are more emotions and descriptions he is holding back but as it stands, the book, has a candid outlook and balanced truth about it. A sad sad war that I think more people should study without all the socio-political drama bias associated. I believe the author thoughtfully and insightfully interpreted events as he seen them.
