Leelon Edwards’s Reviews > The Exchange > Status Update

Unlike many of Grisham's classic courtroom dramas, The Exchange emphasizes suspense and diplomacy over legal battles. The story unfolds more as an international thriller with suspense and intrigue. While some readers may miss the intense courtroom confrontations that characterize Grisham's earlier work, the shift in focus keeps the narrative fresh and contemporary.
