Taboo by Emery LeeAnn
Book 2 in the anthology and for me personally, the writing felt like a high school creative-writing assignment, the pacing was ridiculously rushed, and the character development was practically nonexistent.

Thicker Than Blood by W.P Woodbine
I loved the humour, entertaining dialogue, quirky character moments and Aaron’s initial redemption storyline.
Unfortunately I felt like we were missing romantic development involving Aaron, and the ending left me confused about how the characters reached that point.

The Chaos Between by Nicole Blackwood
Fantastic execution, writing reminiscent of Steph Macca and H.D. Carlton, and a genuinely enjoyable reading experience.

Daddy Knows Best by Ayden Perry
The spice was delivering, the storytelling was engaging, and I was absolutely flying through those 157 pages. At chapter 14, I was genuinely impressed with how much better this story was compared to the previous two.
AND THEN WE GOT TO THAT ENDING.
Needless to say, it was going to be 4 stars but then it ended like that…

Double Down by Jay Leigh Brown
Ok that is book 1 done, and there was a fair bit missing in this story, I feel like we are missing a whole conversation between Cleo and Arryn.
I think for a 9 chapter story it’s not too bad it’s entertaining don’t get me wrong but like I said I just feel we are missing a huge chunk of info.
