She also isn’t even happy for her best friend finding someone he could like for the future. She almost puts Birdy down because she’s a girly girl and not a nerd like those two. Like who cares bro just say you want it to be you. Gosh I might have to dnf this. I really like their friendship. I don’t like Lia questioning Breaker so much. If she trusts him shouldn’t she trust in who he sees and finds worthy of his time? I know she’s only saying this because she wants the person to be her but still. It feels mean that she’s making him second guess and essentially asking him to be alone forever while she gets married

It may be just me but I don’t like overbearing people. I don’t like Lia trying to claim her territory over Breaker in front of her fiancé consciously or not. It makes me feel bad for a man and I don’t like that

I like this book but double dates? Really? I don’t like Lia continuing to intrude on their conversation. Maybe I just hate nosy people and just like space.

Whether or not it’s intended I think it’s just human nature. Whether or not you act on it. Whether or not it’s reciprocated. Whether or not there’s a past. Whether or not it comes of anything. People are always going to be uncomfortable with those relationships. If you’re too close it’s odd and if you’re distancing there’s something to hide. It’s all weird

I have the belief that men and women can’t be friends (single especially). Maybe I’m not grown enough or I’m too cynical but it’s never just friends. I don’t like people trying to convince their person that their opposite sex bff is just a friend. I’ve met great guys and I’ve met douchebags. Both have a common denominator and it’s that if you spend enough time with them something always comes up.

See I loved how this started. Just friends having good banter and commonalities. I really don’t like when it’s friends to lovers but the main characters have relationships while they figure out their shit. I think it’s shitty I think it’s weak to stay in a relationship because it’s comfortable because you “can’t have the one you want” regardless of the person they’re with is crappy

Love the banter so far and the humor is good
