to read about him and his mom going back to the concentration camps only cause she was invited back as a survivor, for the 50th anniversary for their liberation, to read how emotional it was for her, to see the photos he took of the camps, the gas chambers (what’s left of them), the barracks where they slept..just brought tears to my eyes again..horrific.

i’m halfway through chapter 3, he’s talking about when his parents and their families were in the different concentration camps around Germany. how the German soldiers would just walk through their towns and take them out of their homes to take them to gas chambers or concentration camps to work. or how they would take masses of Jews outside on the streets and just open fire. so so horrific. had tears in my eyes.

it’s been pretty good with what i’ve read so far. can’t wait to read chapter three!
