The plot holes resulting from the time-travel angle are becoming too numerous to avoid.
Also, the treatment of madness seems to be a bit childish, especially so when dealing with Moore's real-life muses.

I'm so glad that part two is over. Hopefully part three returns to the vignette structure of the first part, which is much less frustrating.

I'm growing very tired of exposition awkwardly brought about through the dialogue of children. Moore very clearly wants his reader to know every little detail of the world he has created, but doesn't know how to bring it about naturally, which makes for an exhausting read. The overwhelming detail is also exhaustive, yet rarely illuminating. What Moore needs is a good, thorough editor.
