I have a hard time seeing that a person can put up with that let alone almost two years

With books I feel like rude words are so often forgotten. Maybe it’s just me but if I was Lia and Brian’s mother spoke to me like that I wouldn’t take that. I know there’s love for Brian but no amount of love should let this disrespect fly especially when the fiancé is aware of their mother’s dislike.

Birdy seems so sweet wtf and she has good chemistry with breaker too but they don’t “feel anything” my ass

I know it’s a thing with interconnected standalone but they’re basically shamelessly plugging the previous books and it’s annoying and unnecessary

She also isn’t even happy for her best friend finding someone he could like for the future. She almost puts Birdy down because she’s a girly girl and not a nerd like those two. Like who cares bro just say you want it to be you. As grown adults I think it’s high time we are self aware and process these “foreign feelings” yeah it’s called you’re in love with your boy best friend idiot

Gosh I might have to dnf this. I really like their friendship. I don’t like Lia questioning Breaker so much. If she trusts him shouldn’t she trust in who he sees and finds worthy of his time? I know she’s only saying this because she wants the person to be her but still. It feels mean that she’s making him second guess and essentially asking him to be alone forever while she gets married

It may be just me but I don’t like overbearing people. I don’t like Lia trying to claim her territory over Breaker in front of her fiancé consciously or not. It makes me feel bad for a man and I don’t like that

I like this book but double dates? Really? I don’t like Lia continuing to intrude on their conversation. Maybe I just hate nosy people and just like space.
