i agree that the depressing atmosphere feels relevant because what happened here was in fact real but damn, it’s so hard to get through and feels like it’s never gonna end 😭 i do think it’s done a good job at showing instead of telling the horrors of this siege on the every day person.

i have mixed feelings about the romance and our MCs so far though too. on one hand i do like the yearning but on the other, some of their decisions when it comes to the love story itself and how they are going about things leave me a bit conflicted. i’ll see where i end up 🥹🖤
