Really enjoyed the second story-
The horse is perhaps the most poetic element of the story. Both Gitano and the horse are past their prime and have seemingly become surplus to the needs of the ranch. Yet Gitano takes him along regardless, as though they are two remnants of an older world making one final journey together. The mountains represent home, memory and permanence, while families and ownership may change
